What to do with the bit at the end?
The end bit can be put in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, until it puffs. Let it cool for 3-5 minutes and give it back to your pup to enjoy!
Safety Guidelines
For the safety of your dog, they should be observed while using any dog chew. Discard any broken or splintering pieces and make sure they have plenty of water available.

What to do with the bit at the end?
The end bit can be put in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, until it puffs into a crunchy cheese doodle. Let it cool for 3-5 minutes and give it back to your pup to enjoy safely!
Can dogs eat cheese?
Cheese is a great treat for dogs as long as they aren’t lactose intolerant, which a small percentage are. Our chews have little to no lactose in it as the cheesemaking process removes most of it from the milk. Hard cheeses in general have less lactose in them and our cheese is an extremely hard cheese. As with any treat or chew you give to them, make sure to monitor your dog’s reaction and behaviour. If they show no ill effects from consuming cheese, you may continue to offer them portions as occasional treats, otherwise discontinue use of the chew should there be an symptoms of intolerance.
How long will they last?
Ah the million dollar question. And the answer is, it depends. Of course our high quality chews are super long lasting compared to other chews on the market, but that all depends on your dog’s chewing habits and your preference. Our dogs (30lbs puggle and 10lbs chihuahua) will enjoy their chews for up to a week. We give it to them for 45mins – 1hr chewing sessions. Other customers prefer to give the chew to their dogs without any time limit and the chew can last up to a couple of days for voracious chewers. Of course you want to monitor the process they’re making on the chews to be able to microwave the little bit at the end for safe consumption.
Why are there a differences in color and shapes?
As with all rustic handmade cheeses, our chews come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The golden hues of our cheese come from the smoking and hardening process to ensure the durability of the chews. We take care to ensure that each piece meets our quality, weight and size standards but no two piece will be exactly alike given the natural quality of the ingredients and production process.
